As our customer base and AI Platform continue to expand, we’re strengthening our Operations team with a dedicated Operations Engineer, someone who thrives in cloud operations, observability and incident management.
Job Overview:
As an Operations Engineer at Automaise, you will play a key role in keeping Automaise running smoothly: proactively monitoring our cloud infrastructure and AI Platform, acting on early signals to prevent outages, ensuring stable execution of customer solutions, and driving continuous improvement across incident, problem and change management. This role is central to our commitment to operational excellence and to delivering a reliable, high‑performance experience to every customer.
What you’ll do:
Customer Solution Operations
- Understand high-level customer use cases within Automaise AI Platform
- Observe, act on customer use cases execution failure, restoring normal execution
- Analyze use cases success metrics, identify probable changes, advise
- Evolve operational observability and reporting of use cases operational metrics
- Provide FinOps assistance in the scope of customer use cases optimizing costs
- Own Operations interactions to bridge Customer and Automaise Teams
Infrastructure & Platform Operations & Support
- Observe and restore, based on instructions, Cloud services and Automaise AI Platform execution
- Analyze and act on Automaise AI Platform logging, metrics and events reported issues
- Create and evolve operations dashboarding, alarmistic and reporting
- Along with Automaise teams, assist in finding root causes of Automaise AI Platform and Cloud services execution
- Maintain operations Knowledge Bases for enhanced restoration time and efficient support times
- Own incident and service requests to other teams regarding Cloud services and Automaise AI Platform dependencies
Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Handle Incidents and customer support requests related to LIVE/PRODUCTIVE Automaise AI Platform environments and customer LIVE solutions
- Work with our ticketing platform, do customer interactions, care for customer
- Work diligently keeping SLA’s under control and good customer support satisfaction levels
- Own and steer Problem Management process with Automaise internal teams to keep everyone working diligently to transform problems into solutions
- Own and steer Change Management process to help mitigate risk when changes affect live Automaise AI Platform environments, customer live solutions and live/productive cloud services and infrastructure
- Create and evolve Incident/Problem/Change/SLA dashboarding, alarmistic and reporting
Minimum requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with ITIL / ITSM practices, tools, processes and application or any Support Ticketing platform
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic Search, Dynatrace, App Insights or any Operations Observability and Log Aggregation platform
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience on operations or any role within Software Development area
- Experience as power user of Web and Mobile Applications
- Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus
- Fluent communicator and passionate over customer interactions
- Business Analyst mindset to seek and analyze edge cases of product user journeys
- Basic Knowledge on Scripting — PowerShell and/or Bash
- Basic Knowledge in Relational/NoSQL Databases, create/troubleshoot SQL/No-SQL queries, Db schema analysis
- Basic Knowledge in Software QA practices
Valued Skills (Differentiators)
- Certified Operations in Azure Cloud, AppInsights
- Certified Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM practices
- Experience with AI, Generative AI, RAG or Agentic Engineering
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, Atlassian tools
- Experience with GitOps, ArgoCD or Flux within Operations scope
- Experience with FinOps practices
- Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS / GCP)
- Experience with Virtualized/Containerized architectures, Docker
